The Swordsmen: Greetings from Dirk

0

Greetings Theater Fans: The Swordsmen show began as a 7 minute gag, a
skit, a one time effort to fuse comedy, swordplay and poetry. That was in February of 1987. Hmmmmm, how time flies when one is having fun.
Our performance relies equally on three things:
1)YOU! we have done this show in the woods when noone was watching and believe me it was not funny!
2) Timing. David and I have been blessed with a sixth sense about one another and we have worked hard to develop our comic timing over the years. Part gift, partly earned our fictional duo has little trouble getting in and out of trouble with our audience thanks to our preternatural timing.
3) Experience. We have performed our show over 4000 times. We have been seen by over one million people live, and many many times that on television broadcasts from Chicago to Washington D.C. to San Diego, CA.
With 18 years of practice are still able to bring fresh ideas to every show.
We are looking forward to sharing our particular mix of Vaudeville,Circus and Elizabeathen Theater with the good patrons of the Noble Fool Theater again. We had the honor of opening your theater and are very excited to return.
Any questions on Comedy, Swordfighting, Traveling and or our kooky life in velvet tights will be gladly answered in this forum. Until
then good day and good living!!

sincerely; douglas mumaw (aka dirk perfect)
