My girlfriend of two years broke up with me. Out of the blue she texted me saying she doesn't know what to tell me about our plans for the day cause she met a guy she's been talking to. She said she's confused and doesn't know what she wants. Really lame of her to tell me with a text.

Breaking up IS hard to do. That's why I waited until he was on a weekend snowmobiling trip. It took me two trips, but I packed up everything I owned and loaded it into my compact car. I moved in with a girlfriend. He had a drinking problem, but he didn't think so. He wasn't going to change, so I had to. I miss the cats and dogs, but not him!

my first thought, when i received his 'i not love you' text at three in the morning, was that it had been another autocorrect communication casualty, possibly supplemented by twenty bucks worth of dollar drafts. my smiley face reply and some inane joke about it having to be opposite day was volleyed back with a string of question marks and finally, the next day, a curt email with instructions regarding returning the keys to his apartment and the cubs hat he left at my place. i got over the breakup easily enough....until i found out who he had started dating. isn't it the truth that sometimes it would feel better knowing your ex was entertaining a whole harem of unknown replacement hotties, than just shacking up with the one lady who also happened to be your own sworn enemy? a shame i never did find that cubs hat...

I recently broke up with my boyfriend just before we started rehearsals for this show. I have to say the timing sucked! For one thing, he only lives 20 minutes from the theater and I had planned on staying with him during the contract. Now, not only am I not staying with him (and instead driving 72 miles every day), but I have to pass his street every time I go and leave the theater. Secondly, all these break-up songs make me tear up in rehearsals and make me feel ridiculous. Then all I do is think of him the whole way home. *sigh* Every time someone asks me, "What show are you working on now?" I reply. . ."Don't laugh. It's called, Breaking Up is Hard To Do." But they laugh anyway! I know, it IS pretty ironic. And after all. . breaking up is VERY hard to do.

Kaitlyn, I think it's - supercalifragilisticexpialidocious - that you are having such a great time and tons of success at your acting. Keep it up and you'll be rubbing elbows with Sandra Bullock one of these days!
